Just 7 years ago Supra burst onto the scene and has since found itself to be one of the most sought after skate shoe of the present day. Founder Angel Cabada believed current footwear styles to be too “chunky” and aimed to create a skateboarding shoe that combined high quality materials enhancing their durability but also a skating shoe fellow skaters would feel proud to wear. Backed by top skaters Spencer Hamilton, Furby and Boo Johnson amongst others Supra became the footwear of choice for avid skaters.
Supra’s popularity has soured since the US Black Entertainment Television Awards where stars such as Jay Z and Lil Wayne were seen wearing the brand. Lil Wayne has since gone on to form a partnership with the brand.
