Founded by apprentice stitcher Nathan Swartz in 1918, Timberland produces outdoor apparel, specialising in footwear often used for hiking, climbing amongst other outdoor sports. To promote their durability, Timberland sponsors the Spanish sailing team by providing them with branded apparel and footwear.
